With great films, exciting guests and wild special events, the only place Philadelphians should be in early April is in the dark!

4/6/11 - Special Announcement!

Philadelphia QFest presents the American Premiere of one of the biggest gay films of the year - The One! The director and stars will be in attendance. A Spring appetizer for our main event this July!

4/1/11 - Programming Changes!

The screening of Vampire that was scheduled for 4/10 at 9:15pm at Ritz East Theatre 2 will now be moved to 4/12 at 2:30pm in Ritz East Theatre 2 to replace Julia's Eyes. In its place, due to unprecedented demand, a second screening of Cost of a Soul has been added.

3/28/11 - Short Films Added!

Cinefest is pleased to present 3 short films from local film makers. Hockey Mom - Directed by Adam Scheiner - screening before Score: A Hockey Musical. Folie Imposée - Directed By Louis Mansfield - screening before Cold Fish. Beating Hearts - Directed by Matthew Garrett. - Screening before Womb. Come experience the passion of Philadelphian Film Makers.

3/22/11 - Film Cancellation & Replacement!

Due to print availability problems, the festival has cancelled the two screenings of Julia’s Eyes and has replaced the Thursday, 9:30pm slot at the Ritz East 1 with the Sundance hit, Another Earth. The replacement film for the matinee screening of Julia’s Eyes has not yet been announced.
