Opening Night Party at the Philadelphia Independence Visitors Center! Come celebrate the opening of Cinefest 2011 with an evening under the stars. Dance and celebrate with a live DJ, special guests, and a generously stocked bar provided by Blue Coat Gin, Smirnoff Vodka, Barefoot Wine and Smart Water. Discount voucher parking will be available for the underground lot at the Independence Visitors Center.

Dock Street Fair in Old City. An all day event featuring live music, comedy acts presented by 247 comedy radio, filmmaker interviews hosted by Scrapple TV, Positano Coast outdoor seating, vendors, games, fun and more! The festivities kick off at noon, don't miss it!

Tony Jaa Fest - A Muay Thai day long celebration of our favorite Asian Action Star. Featuring the Ong Bak: Thai Warrior trilogy (1-3) on the Piazza at Schmidt’s JUMBO-TRON. Brace yourself for live martial arts demonstrations by Sitan Gym (Muay Thai), Platoon Fitness (Jiu Jitsu) and Cool Hearts Gym (Krav Maga).

Bowl Cinefest PARTY! Once your adrenaline is pumping from Tony Jaa Fest, come join us, upstairs at North Bowl, for a tasty buffet, drink specials, billiards, video games and of course, bowling!

The Phantasmagoria Award: John Carpenter. Movie Monday! Enjoy a screening of the classic, Big Trouble in Little China (1986) and Award Presentation to the master of horror, John Carpenter. Arrive before 7pm, get a FREE beer & a bag of popcorn.

Come see The Legend of Sofa Kingdom (a documentary about Quizzo in Philly) at 6:30pm at the Painted Bride. Afterwards, meet one of the stars of the film, Johnny Goodtimes as he presents The Quizzo Championship. Test your skill against legendary team Sofa Kingdom. Drink specials and prizes!
